 A year into the pandemic

Sixteen months ago most people would have had trouble making a distinction between an epidemic and a pandemic, or describing the line where one turns into the other. Today, it would be rare to find someone in the world who cannot define or understand what is a pandemic, how it starts, how it expands and how it ends. It would also be difficult to find someone who has not experienced the void in the belly when they hear about the number of people dead by this pandemic. Does anyone have not heard of the Corona virus or COVID19?

There are few universals that unite all people. In contrast, there are fewer universals that divide people.
