Well wishes

Those who want to express get-well wishes, etc. can do so in two ways:
  1. Post comments to the entries here
  2. Send an email to jan_get_well@yahoo.ca (jan_get_well)

We will print your messages to Jan and read them to her: now, with the faith that she will hear them and be comforted, and later, when she is awake.

Oh, dearest Jan, what a tragic turn of events this is, and just when you found such happiness in your new marriage. My best wishes go to you as well, Federico, for this must be a tremendous burden on your heart, when only days ago the future looked bright and so full of promise for you both. As difficult as her recovery must be, I will believe that there will be no other outcome but her survival and the best possible prognosis for a good recovery. I pray that she will wake up and still have her ability to speak (and some day sing!) and know joy in her life for years to come.

Strength and positive energy to you Jan, and to Federico and Steve and all her family. (Family in the broadest sense, of course) I expect to be able to talk with you on the phone within the month, Jan, and hear you sass me as you love to do.

You will be well again, I believe that.

All my love,
Paul

My dear friend Jan:

I keep praying that you will be healed and restored to full health in God's love. I love you so much! You touch my life in ways that are forever changing. I am blessed to know the kindness and love of your friendship. You have a wisdom and strength that are un-matched. The Lord gave me this word for encouragement and I hope that it will encourage you:

"...your kindness lasts for a lifetime. At night we may cry, but when morning comes we will celebrate." -Psalm 30:5

To Fede, Steve, Sue, and family - I am praying for you. May you feel God's presence, love and peace overflowing in your hearts.

Love,
Julia A.

Jan,
Jan I will not quote you scripture, you know it better than I. I will however remind you that you are powerful and as strong as the tree your husband spoke of. If you are meant to stay then take gods light from above and root it into the ground. If it is your will and Gods to stay, then do it. We will all cheer you on and learn from your courage. I love you. I am directing a musical right now and tonight I will ask the cast to form a prayer circle onstage at the academy. We will send music and love and light your way. Hear it sweet friend. Your more earthly friends are thinking of you to.
love gayle

In the words of a song that a friend of mine wrote...
You're not forgoten never alone, you are held in HIS hands. The Lord who made the heaven and earth, He'll never leave He is there. He is working all things for good and you're kept in His care.
Know that the Lord has His hand upon you. He will complete what He started to do. Certain in hope His word is true, He's forming Christ Jesus in you.
You are his child you bear his name and he calls you his own. the Lord who came from heaven to earth, He knows the way that you take. He has promised he'll never leave. He is with you all the way.
Know that the Lord has his hand upon you he will complete what he started to do. Certain in hope his word is true, He's forming Christ Jesus in YOU!!!!
We love you and we are praying for you and with you. Your Spirit and the Lord will pull you through..Keep fighting!
PS Great job Steven!!
Blessings and HIS Grace
IN HIM,
Elaine, Rick and the children

Isaiah 43:1-3
"But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name;
you are mine.

When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."

We are on our knees to the Creator of heavens and earth. To the God who spoke the worlds into existence. It is our God who formed you and holds you in His hand. He is Jehovah Rapha - the God who heals (Ex. 15:26).

We continue to pray for a miracle for the glory of His name.

Love in Christ,
Jeff & Lori Chase

It is late in the evening and I have just lit a candle for you. As I look into the flame to envision your essence I remember the beauty of your soul. When I’m around I feel free to participate in the moment, or not. Your energy does me good dear friend.

Vern!

I love you very much and am proud of your courage.

These notes from your bible speak so well to your life's work which I believe is not complete.

"The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.

The Sovereign LORD has opened my ears,
and I have not been rebellious;
I have not drawn back."
- Isaiah 50:4-5

Your passion to know and hear and see God in the ordained and the ordinary is inspiring.

Blessings my friend, hugs and blessings to Fede and the Walton clan.

David
